Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 12-Hour Variable Shifts (Evenings/Nights) | Shift range between 3PM–7AM, including 3PM–3AM and 7PM–7AM rotations | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level II Trauma Emergency Room setting
• Work variable evening and overnight 12-hour shifts, demonstrating flexibility across assigned shift windows
• Accurately document all patient care activities and assessments using Epic EMR
• Perform and interpret 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia monitoring
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact State
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR within the last year
• Must successfully pass a 12-lead EKG and Dysrhythmia exam
• Ability to work flexible variable shifts including evenings and overnight rotations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level II Trauma center environment
• Pediatric emergency nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
