Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/19/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position is based in a healthcare facility specializing in high risk obstetric care. The role involves supporting various patient diagnoses, assisting with high acuity deliveries, and functioning as a Baby Nurse during delivery. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high volume and high risk obstetric patients. Job Details: Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027. Required Qualifications: One year of experience in Labor and Delivery, high risk obstetric experience, valid compact state license, BLS, NRP certifications, and experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EPIC hard stop). Preferred Qualifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate certifications. Float: Float to postpartum/antepartum units and sister facilities supporting Mother/Baby care; may assist in NICU or other units as needed. Additional Information: The role involves assisting with high risk/high volume deliveries across four operating rooms, providing immediate newborn care including assessments, eye care, and injections, and managing high acuity scenarios such as hemorrhage or abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Candidates must be able to circulate during deliveries and support both vaginal and cesarean sections.
