REGISTERED NURSE, Med/Tele Unit - Full Time Nights *$10,000.00 SIGN ON*

Position Summary Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Telemetry Unit at Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 124‑bed acute care hospital in Sparks, Nevada. Full‑time day‑shift schedule. Eligible for a $10,000.00 sign‑on bonus and full benefits. Responsibilities Involve patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population‑specific, and diversity needs in care assessment. Construct and implement the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill. Integrate direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnosis and co‑morbidities. Coordinate implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients. Develop goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs. Consistently complete hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs (e.g., pain, repositioning, toileting). Evaluate the environment proactively to ensure it is patient friendly and safe. Collaborate with the patient’s designated care partner to meet educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Follow communication practices that minimize risks associated with handoffs and transitions using the SBAR process. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program. Current Nevada nursing license. Current BLS certificate. Current ACLS certificate. Must have one year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in an acute care setting.
