Local CDL-A Truck Driver - Home Daily

$1,800 per week

Job Description:

Home everyday and weekends off
Gross $1,800 per week
Running within a 250-mile radius of New Castle, IN
6 months of recent truck driving experience required

Cheeseman Transport is urgently hiring a CDL-A Home DailyTruck Driver in Ohio, Indiana, and South Carolina . Drivers will be driving within 250 miles delivering forklifts, batteries, tow motors and their parts. Come be a part of the Cheeseman journey!

Cheeseman CDL-A Truck Driver Compensation and Benefits

Gross $1,800 - paid weekly via direct deposit
Bonus & additional earning opportunities:
- Referral bonus: $5,000

Cheeseman Truck Driver Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have CDL-A license
Must have 6 months of driving experience
Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements OR be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
No felony in the past 7 years
No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years
Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

Home time: Home everyday and weekends off
Route: Delivering within a 250 mile radius of:
- Greencastle and New Castle, IN
- Fort Recovery and Maumee, OH
- Greer, SC
Level of touch: Securing freight with wooden blocks and nail gun

Equipment

Newer model truck
Automatic transmission
Governed speed: 68 mph
ELD equipped using Samsara
APU and inverters
Outward facing camera
