A & J Transportation is seeking Over the Road CDL-A Drivers in Little Rock, AR. If you have 1+ years of CDL-A driving experience and can operate a manual, this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss! Earn $0.60 per mile on dry van freight or $0.65 per mile on reefer freight paid on every loaded and empty mile, plus layover and detention pay. Stay moving with dependable freight: Haul general freight with a balanced mix of 50% drop-and-hook and 50% live loads. Drive late-model Peterbilts: Run 2023 and 2025 Peterbilt 567 10-speed trucks, governed at 70 mph. Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle while meeting all applicable Federal Department of Transportation regulations under the company’s DOT authority, including Parts 382 (drug and alcohol testing), 383 (CDL standards), and 391 (driver qualification). Perform all essential truck driver duties, with or without reasonable accommodation. Maintain physical qualification to operate a CMV, including obtaining a valid six-month medical card before first dispatch. Complete all application materials accurately and honestly, without falsification or omissions. Maintain a record free from positive or refused drug and alcohol tests with previous employers; SAP drivers are not eligible. Meet the company’s minimum driving-record requirements.
