Description
Under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services, and a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist works intra operatively in the preparation and handling of supplies and equipment to maintain a safe and therapeutic surgeon environment for the patients. The Surgical Technologist will perform as a team member for the common good of the patient take responsibility for personal action.
Education: High school graduate or Certification from national association of surgical technologist
Certification from National Association of Surgical Technologist required
CPR certification required (must obtain within 2 months of hire)
Experience: One year experience in a main operating room within the last two years preferred Basic knowledge of scrub role Handling of instruments, set up, anticipates surgeons needs Knowledge of autoclaves Transporting patients
Certified Tech - Pay Range $24.13- 30.00 Non-Certified - Ray Range $21.00 - $27.00
Education
Technical/other training or better.
