StaffRite USA HR Generalist Memphis, TN 38115 Full Time $65,000 - 90,000 Administrative Memphis, TN 38115 Position Summary The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day Human Resources functions and providing guidance to employees and management. This position assists with employee relations, recruiting and onboarding, benefits administration, payroll support, compliance, performance management, and maintaining accurate employee records. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, approachable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion. Duties & Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions, policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace concerns. Coordinate recruiting activities, including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting hiring managers throughout the selection process. Manage new-hire onboarding, orientation, employment documentation, and offboarding processes. Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR records. Assist with payroll preparation by reviewing employee information, timekeeping records, pay changes, and other payroll-related documentation. Support employee benefits enrollment, changes, and employee questions. Assist management with employee relations matters, including attendance, performance, workplace concerns, coaching, disciplinary actions, and documentation. Support performance management processes, including evaluations, corrective actions, and employee development. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist with FMLA, leave of absence, workers' compensation, and other employee leave processes as applicable. Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate employee data within HRIS and payroll systems. Assist with employee engagement, retention, recognition, and company culture initiatives. Participate in HR audits and ensure required employment documentation is complete and current. Maintain confidentiality regarding employee, payroll, and company information. Assist with updating and communicating company policies and procedures. Perform additional HR-related duties and special projects as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of Human Resources or HR Generalist experience preferred. Working knowledge of HR practices and employment laws. Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll support, and benefits administration. Experience working with HRIS, ATS, payroll, or timekeeping systems preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally. Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work effectively with employees and management at all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or staffing environment. Knowledge of employee relations, attendance management, workers' compensation, and workplace safety practices. Experience supporting a high-volume hourly workforce. SHRM-CP, PHR, or other Human Resources certification is a plus. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to work in both an office and operational/manufacturing environment as needed. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
