Over the years the program has provided students with the opportunity to engage in meaningful, career-relevant work at National Life Group in preparation for full-time employment. This position currently offers an onsite work schedule, with the expectation that you are in the office four (4) days per week during onsite core days. Our current onsite core days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The work schedule type and core days are subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion. RESPONSIBILITIES: National Life Group is seeking a creative, collaborative and digitally savvy Social Media Intern to join our Digital Marketing team. This role will support the Social Media team in developing engaging, on-brand content for National Life Group’s social channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. The Social Media Intern will have the opportunity to contribute to real campaigns and communications while gaining hands-on experience in social media marketing within a highly collaborative organization. A significant focus of the role will be graphic design and visual content creation, using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications to bring ideas to life across social platforms. The ideal candidate is visually creative, interested in social media and digital trends, comfortable managing multiple projects, and excited to collaborate with teams across the organization. Create Social Media Content Design engaging social media graphics and visual assets using Canva, Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Cloud tools. Support the creation of content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, adapting creative to the needs and best practices of each platform. Assist with short-form video, motion graphics, carousels, static graphics and other social-first creative. Help translate campaign concepts, business priorities and communications needs into compelling social content. Apply National Life Group brand standards consistently across social creative. Support Campaigns and Communications Partner with the Social Media team to develop content for integrated marketing campaigns, product initiatives, corporate communications, recruiting, community engagement, events and other organizational priorities. Help turn larger campaigns and communications into platform-specific social content that is clear, engaging and relevant to each audience. Assist with brainstorming creative concepts, visual directions, copy ideas and new ways to tell National Life Group stories on social media.
