Schedule: 2nd Shift | Rotating 3-day / 4-day workweek | 4:00 PM4:30 AM

About the Opportunity:
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Operator workers for a food production company in St. Peter, MN. In this role, youll operate and monitor packaging equipment to support efficient, high-quality food production in a safety-focused environment. What Youll Do as a Machine Operator:
- Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust packaging machines to meet quality and efficiency standards
- Perform start-ups, changeovers, shutdowns, and film roll changes
- Inspect equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make mechanical adjustments as needed
- Handle raw materials, including weight adjustments and material movement
- Complete production documentation accurately and record key data
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization of the work area
- Communicate equipment issues and improvement ideas with maintenance and supervision
What You Need to Bring to the Machine Operator Role:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience with production equipment
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (3 days one week, 4 days the next) with occasional overtime
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, push, and pull for 12-hour shifts
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified within the first 14 days
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, including technical instructions
