In this role, you will weld structural steel components while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders who thrive in a fast-paced production or fabrication environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform Sub Arc welding on structural steel componentsRead and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and job specificationsSet up and operate Sub Arc welding equipment efficientlyInspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with specificationsFollow all safety procedures and shop policiesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaCollaborate with fitters, welders, and supervisors to meet production goalsRequirements:Proven Sub Arc welding experienceAbility to read blueprints and welding symbolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality weldsAbility to pass a weld testReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to lift, bend, and work in a shop environmentPreferred Qualifications:Structural steel welding experiencePrevious production or fabrication shop experienceFamiliarity with overhead crane operation (a plus)
