JANITOR (FULL TIME)

About the Position Full‑time Janitor positions located in Lithia Springs, GA 30122. Work schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Online applications only. Fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Job Summary Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans. Dust and damp‑mop floors following approved procedures. Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return furniture to correct placement. Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment and sanitize all surfaces. Follow the eight‑step cleaning procedure. Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task. Complete all tasks assigned by the supervisor. Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines. Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpet. Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 1 year of janitorial experience required.
