What You'll Do:

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans tailored to inmate needs
• Document all treatment and evaluation activities accurately in healthcare records
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information
• Apply psychological counseling techniques and theories effectively
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention to inmates
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery

What You Need:

• Valid driver's license and Social Security Card for facility clearance
• Proven experience in mental health therapy or counseling preferred
• Knowledge of psychological assessment and treatment techniques
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and secure environment

About the Assignment:
This position involves providing vital mental health services within a correctional setting in Leavenworth, Kansas. You will support inmates through assessments, treatment planning, and crisis interventions, contributing to the safety and well-being of everyone involved. The assignment is scheduled for approximately 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on facility needs.
