About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Room License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, TNCC Must-Have: - Must have experience with Epic charting system - Willingness to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's - Comfortable being assigned to an "Emergency Team" during emergency events Description: Please ensure you are comfortable with the expectations of this assignment. Upon acceptance of the role, you may be assigned to an "Emergency Team." This may include staying at the facility until after an event passes or being part of the relief team. Specific pay details will be communicated during each emergency event. You should not apply if you are not comfortable with these conditions. Candidates must be willing to work holidays based on departmental needs and fair staff rotation. Experience must include a patient ratio of 1:4. Previous charge experience is preferred. Travel experience is required. Candidates are expected to assist with a wide range of emergency situations. Skills needed include management of ventilated patients, chest tube management, trauma care, and more. The facility specializes in treating multiple patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily visits average around 120 with a capacity of 33 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
