CNC Machine Operator

Now Hiring: CNC MachinistPay: $26.17+ per hour (based off experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and machining processes will be essential to ensuring efficient and accurate production.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines including lathes and milling machines using Fanuc or similar control systemsDevelop, modify, and optimize CNC programsRead and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specificationsUse precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM equipment to verify part dimensionsPerform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and ensure proper tooling setup and performanceInstall fixtures and tooling; preset tools according to production requirementsSupport production engineering in new project design and process developmentMaintain accurate documentation of setups, production runs, and quality checksEnsure product quality through adherence to specifications and quality system requirementsCommunicate with quality and engineering teams during setup and launch phasesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S and safety protocolsIdentify safety concerns and recommend improvementsQualifications:-Proven experience operating CNC machinery, including milling machines and lathes-Experience with Fanuc or similar CNC control systems-Strong knowledge of machining aluminum-Excellent blueprint reading skills and solid understanding of GD&T principles-Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of tooling, machining processes, welding, and assembly techniques-Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMM)-Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances-Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles-Forklift certification is a plus-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructionsWork Environment:-Industrial/manufacturing setting-Fast-paced environment focused on precision and quality-Requires standing, machine operation, and material handlingBenefits:-Health, dental, and vision insurance-Life insurance-Paid time off
