Position Overview The Field Admissions Representative finds passionate and motivated students who have a desire to learn and develop their skills at Universal Technical Institute. This role will be responsible for working closely with local high schools to recruit students and build awareness of Universal Technical Institute and its programs. The Representative will work a territory within a 190‑mile radius. This is a remote position; the candidate must currently live and travel throughout Central Texas. Events: Conduct in‑person presentations at high schools and represent UTI and its programs at other off‑site events. Consultative Mindset: Conduct informative and professional in‑home interviews utilizing technical knowledge and skills. Maintain a CRM database for thorough follow‑up with potential students. Public Speaking and Presenting: Present to all levels of educators in high schools and other educational institutions to encourage students to attend Universal Technical Institute. Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of Universal Technical Institute programs, financing options, and other pertinent information to answer prospective student questions during a presentation. Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly department enrollment goals through effective outreach and recruitment efforts. Compliance: Adhere to all compliance criteria and procedures established by external regulatory bodies and by UTI. Other duties as necessary. Qualifications Education: High school degree or GED required; bachelor’s degree a plus. Experience: Public speaking experience preferred; industry knowledge preferred; 3–5 years of outside sales experience highly preferred. Background: Must be able to clear a background check, including an MVR. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Interviews are conducted in person and virtually. Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and sales skills required. Technical Skills: Must have a good understanding of Microsoft Office programs and be able to analyze and report data. Interpersonal Skills: Builds effective relationships, works independently, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, possesses a customer‑service attitude, is self‑motivated, organized, and can manage their territory. Bilingual in Spanish: Highly preferred.
