Oncology Med/Tele Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7PM to 7AM. Available shifts are on a Sun-Tue block. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join our dynamic Oncology Med/Tele Unit, handling cases such as Osteomyelitis, Chemotherapy, SBO, and Sepsis. This position may involve working charge but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients and those with telemonitoring needs.
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for side effects and complications.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Float to other units as needed, based on facility requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry and oncology nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license required.
• AHA BLS certification is required; chemotherapy certification is preferred but not mandatory.
