Job Description Job Description Quality Technician Position: Contract (90 day right to hire). Location: Wentzville, MO (no relocation). Hours: M – F (8 to 5). Status: Must be a US citizen. Salary: $23 - $25 per hour (depending on experience). Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life insurance. 401K, PTO, Paid Holidays and much more. Education: Highschool Diploma or GED. Summary: Our client is seeking a Quality Technician with one to two years of quality inspection experience. They are a growing company and are looking for someone eager to learn and grow with them. You will Inspect product quality, develop and maintain product work instructions, promote safe work practices, evaluate non-conforming products and product returns. Qualifications: • Highschool diploma or GED. • 1-2 years of quality inspection experience. • 1-2 years mechanical assembly or machining experience preferred Competencies. • Proficient math, reading and basic technical writing skills. • Basic computer skills including typing and proficiency w/ MS Office programs. • Accuracy, thoroughness, and high attention to detail. • Precision measurement against blueprints/drawings. • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills Abilities. • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. • Ability to perform repetitive tasks. • Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time. Responsibilities: • Ensures the quality system is maintained. • Monitors and enforces safe work practices in the warehouse, proactively recommending improvements. • Identifies, quarantines and evaluates nonconforming products. • Inspects incoming material, in-process material and final products, including validations and sampling. • In-line auditing of procedures, product ID and traceability, and safety. • Proactively recommends corrective and preventive actions. • Develops and maintains product work instructions.
