This full-time RN role is designed to work under the wound care and hyperbaric oxygen team. The primary focus is to serve as a clinical and business representative for the department, engaging with referring physicians and potential referral sources to expand service utilization and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is a compassionate RN with strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to educate and build professional relationships.

Duties And Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Referral Relationship Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local physicians, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for referral inquiries and follow-ups.
• Educational Outreach:
• Plan, host, and facilitate educational sessions and training programs on wound care best practices and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to create up-to-date, evidence-based materials for presentations and outreach events.
• Business Development:
• Identify new business opportunities within the community to increase referral volumes.
• Represent the department at networking events, conferences, and community forums.
• Collaboration & Reporting:
• Work closely with the wound care and hyperbaric oxygen team to align outreach strategies with clinical capabilities.
• Track outreach activities and referral metrics, providing regular reports to department leadership.
• Clinical Expertise:
• Offer clinical support by answering questions related to treatment protocols, patient eligibility, and post-treatment care.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in wound care and hyperbaric medicine.

Required:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Proven clinical experience, ideally with exposure to wound care or hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop professional relationships in a healthcare setting.

Preferred:

• Experience in a clinical liaison or healthcare business development role.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and data tracking for outreach activities.
• Additional certifications or training in wound care or hyperbaric medicine.
