Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, shipping, and transporting raw materials and finished products. This position ensures accurate inventory transactions, safe material handling, and timely movement of goods throughout the facility while maintaining compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, and distribute raw materials and finished products.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- Perform inventory transactions using SAP, FlexNet (MES), or similar warehouse management systems.
- Transport trailers between warehouse and production buildings using company yard truck (shag truck).
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately.
- Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure all material movements are properly recorded in company systems.
- Deliver materials to designated production areas safely and efficiently.
- Maintain organized warehouse storage locations and ensure inventory is properly labeled.
- Work closely with production, logistics, vendors, and freight carriers to support operational needs.
- Identify and report safety concerns while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with onboarding and training new warehouse team members.
- Attend required safety meetings and operational training sessions.
- Operate independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
- Perform additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within three months.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with minimal supervision.
