Production Supervisor

Your Tasks Evaluate manpower needs. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of production data to management. Engage in customer visits with and/or without plant management. Adhere to yearly budget (staff, investments, costs). Coordinate training of all production employees and line leads and provide documentation to HR. Lead the team work of the assembly operators (as the coach of the team, facilitator of the team meetings). Know and implement relevant federal and state laws (OSHA/safety requirements in the work area, environmental protection, training of the staff). Ensure team adherence to procedures, job instructions and organization instructions for the work area. Continuous improvement of the organization and processes in the production area. Ensure autonomous maintenance and 5S policies are being followed. Other duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor. Your Profile Bachelor's degree required. 3 years experience as a supervisor in a production environment in the manufacturing industry. Experience in running highly automated production equipment. Experience in KANBAN, SPC, TPM, KAIZEN, Poka Yoke, continuous improvement. SAP and MS Office knowledge preferred. Independent decision making with high risks for the protection of the production process. Service-oriented thinking and taking of actions. Assertiveness, creativity, teamwork mentality, capable of setting priorities. Ability to take care of project-related work.
