About Our Family

Our home is a lively, warm household of five, including three young children with distinct personalities, along with five cats. We are navigating the wonderful energy and rhythms of elementary and preschool years while enjoying the home we recently renovated. Weekdays are centered around school routines, afternoon activities, and shared family meals, creating a foundation for both structure and connection.

One parent works full-time outside the home, while the other has been focused on managing the household and kids but will be traveling more frequently to support family out of state. We are seeking a true partner to help manage the day-to-day load alongside us.

Our goal is to spend more quality time together without feeling weighed down by the to-do list. We hope to find someone who can manage the behind-the-scenes work, maintain order and routine, and even assist with an upcoming renovation project. This role is about keeping our household organized and calm so we can focus on what matters mostbeing present with our children.

You're comfortable managing household tasks and stepping in for occasional childcare support, and you genuinely enjoy the satisfaction of a well-run, organized home. Most importantly, you don't just check items off a task listyou look around, anticipate needs, and take initiative to keep everything running seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

Household Organization & Maintenance

• Create and maintain organization systems throughout the home
• Daily resets and tidying to keep spaces functional
• Prep home for cleaning service visits
• Light tidying between cleanings: dishes, counters, vacuuming high-traffic areas
• Seasonal swaps for clothing, decor, and bedding
• Packing/unpacking for travel
• Manage toy clean-outs, gear rotation, and playroom organization
• Coordinate donation drop-offs
• Change batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detectors

Family Support

• Backup support with school pickups and drop-offs
• Prep backpacks, clothing, and snacks for school
• Occasional backup childcare with advance notice
• Comfortable supervising children near pool area

Meal Support

• Plan weekly menu
• Grocery shopping for family meals
• Batch prep breakfast and 2-3 dinners per week
• Chop and prep ingredients so meals can be quickly assembled at dinnertime
• Wash fruit and prep healthy snacks
• Prepare afternoon snacks for kids

Inventory & Errands

• Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
• Maintain running household supply list
• Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon/Costco/Target)
• Handle returns, dry cleaning, and occasional gift shopping
• Mail and package handling
• Breakdown boxes

Laundry & Linens

• Wash, fold, and organize family laundry
• Linen rotation
• Maintain tidy and well stocked laundry areas

Vehicle Upkeep

• Organize and clean out family vehicle
• Schedule mobile car washes via text

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects

• Occasional deep cleaning (fridge, oven, baseboards)
• Clean humidifiers and air purifiers
• Light garage organization work
• Organizational projects (toys, gear, kids art projects and supplies)

Vendor & Property Oversight

• Oversee cleaners/contractors/landscapers
• Research/coordinate repairs and quotes
• Seasonal property maintenance
• Manage outdoor spaces: clean cushions, sweep, pool area cleanup

Administrative & Personal Assistant Support

• Travel planning and logistics
• Calendar management (including household schedules)
