I'm Rafael, and my dad is who is a healthy 94 year old needing someone to be with him at least 4 hours daily from Monday to Friday. He is only Spanish-speaking and hard of hearing. He will soon be discharged from St. Giles skilled nursing facility. He uses a cane and walker in his small house. Very independent, he gets out of bed, showers, and dresses himself; he does his own laundry, a bit disorganized with the few meds he takes. He loves eating and snacking (and still not overweight). He naps often while "watching" television. Five of his eight children live in El Paso, and we're looking for a compassionate, reliable elder care provider to join our family. We are looking for someone to work part-time on a live-out basis. The ideal candidate will serve as a companion. Responsibilities include engaging in conversation, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining a safe home environment.
