Interventional Radiology Technologist

Role: Interventional Radiology Technologist responsible for performing specialized procedures using sterile techniques and advanced equipment. Key Responsibilities Schedule procedures, prepare and position patients, and adjust equipment for optimal imaging. Coordinate with nursing staff, scrub techs, and students during exams. Produce high-quality digital or film images for radiologist interpretation. Maintain and evaluate procedure supplies and products. Assist in caring for critically ill patients, demonstrating high patient care skills. Monitor hemodynamics, understand human vasculature, and anticipate physician needs while maintaining a sterile environment. Collect and maintain compliance records and adhere to safety and quality standards. Analyze clinical data, demonstrate critical thinking, and interpret complex clinical information. Qualifications & Skills Associate’s degree in Radiology Technology or related program. Certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT), Radiography (ARRT), or RCIS (CCI) within 60 days. Effective communication, visual acuity, and ability to work in a team environment. Commitment to safety, confidentiality, and professional standards.
