An Auburn based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate internal medicine physician to join a collaborative, nonprofit outpatient practice. An ideal candidate has 3 years or more of experience, should value practicing evidence-based medicine and should be comfortable treating adults.

Required Qualifications 

\n

\n
• CA medical license as an MD or DO
\n
• Completion of an approved residency program
\n
• Board certification in primary care
\n
• CA DEA certificate before start date
\n
• CPR certification
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• 1-2 years of experience
\n

\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Provide direct primary care and ambulatory outpatient care to clinic patients
\n
• Participate in the development of clinic protocols and procedures to ensure quality medical care
\n
• Participate in utilization and peer review programs which evaluates the quality of the medical staff and medical services being performed at the clinics
\n
• Provide supervision and consultation to physician assistants and nurse practitioners
\n
• Provide consultation services to practitioners by telephone accessibility as necessary
