HX5 is currently seeking a BMC Remedy Application Development, Principal to support the HNI Division at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Integrate BMC products to each other and third‑party applications. Able to customize application beyond the “Out of the Box” configuration. Deliver technical presentations as required to support technical tasks and communicate the solution (i.e., WebEx, conference calls, etc.). Participate in requirements and be able to document and implement technical, configuration or customizations to meet requirements. Have a detailed understanding of Remedy foundation data for proper implementation and day‑to‑day operations. Implement best business practices for IT operations, Business Service Management and foundational level of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Define, write, and deliver specifications, user guides, and architecture and methodology as appropriate to meet project deadlines. Program, test, document, and implement systems and/or software and validate efficacy prior to release to production environment. Analyze routine to moderately complex work and customer problems, issues, and circumstances and provide recommendations, alternatives, and risk assessments. Have knowledge of AF RMF and be able to provide artifacts, system remediation to support AF Authority to Operate. Articulate best business practices and streamline system application and architecture as EITSM migrates to new versions. Salary: This position is expected to pay $137,000 to $182,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. Education and Experience Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: Fifteen (15) years of BMC Consulting and IT Service Management ITSM certifications required BMC Certified Professional – The BMC Certified Professional level verifies all required skills to deploy, operate, and troubleshoot our products. BMC Certified Professional – The BMC Certified Associate levels validate the knowledge and skills needed to apply best practices on BMC solutions. ITIL v3 Foundations BMC Remedy IT Service Management 7.x: Advanced Solutions for Incident and Problem Management or higher BMC Remedy IT Service Management 7.x: Advanced Solutions for Asset Management and Discovery or higher SolarWinds SME who can work with all modules of SolarWinds. Other Position Requirements Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire. Must be able to travel, including air travel.
