Obtain necessary clinical information from patients or chart and record it. Set priorities and demonstrate ability to facilitate patient care. Perform various quality control duties, including obtaining a sensitometer strip and checking with a densitometer to confirm acceptable limits before studies. Participate in unit activities, including division and staff meetings. Maintain professional and technological competencies and requirements such as CPR and TB testing. Assist in training and proctoring mammography technologists. Job Specifications and Core Competencies Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Licensure: Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and a licensed Radiographer in the state of Indiana. Earned an advanced certificate in mammography from the ARRT, or completed a training course in mammography and will be taking the ARRT advanced certificate within 60 days.
