Senior Project Manager

OILKLEEN LLC – Arnold Air Force Base / Tullahoma, TN
Full-Time | On-Site

OILKLEEN is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead field execution of a major U.S. Air Force hydraulic-system modernization project at Arnold AFB.

This is a hands-on project leadership role focused on the installation, integration, startup, and commissioning of large modular hydraulic power units and associated industrial systems.

We are looking for a local candidate in the Arnold AFB / Tullahoma area with strong experience managing heavy industrial equipment installations. Experience with Department of Defense or federal projects is highly preferred. Hydraulic-system knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project execution at Arnold AFB
• Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, controls, rigging, and commissioning activities
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Oversee heavy equipment installation, foundations, piping, electrical integration, and startup
• Track schedule, budget, quality, safety, and project documentation
• Identify scope changes and potential project risks before they impact cost or schedule
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, commissioning, and Government acceptance
• Maintain strong communication with OILKLEEN management and Government representatives

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial construction, installation, or project-management experience
• Proven experience managing heavy industrial equipment installations
• Strong subcontractor and field coordination experience
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, construction drawings, equipment layouts, and P&IDs
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and project documentation
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to obtain access to U.S. military installations

Preferred Experience

• Department of Defense or federal projects
• Arnold AFB / AEDC experience
• Industrial hydraulic systems
• Aerospace, power generation, manufacturing, or shipyard projects
• Heavy rotating equipment
• Industrial piping and mechanical systems
• Controls / PLC integration
• FAT, SAT, and commissioning
• Microsoft Project or Primavera P6

Compensation

Base Salary: $90,000–$110,000 , depending on experience, plus project-performance incentives tied to major installation, commissioning, schedule, quality, and Government acceptance milestones.

This is intended to be a local, on-site position in the Arnold AFB / Tullahoma area and does not include routine travel or per diem.
