Job Summary

Trout Trucking Company is seeking a motivated, organized, and dependable Dispatcher to join our Operations team in Robstown. Responsibilities

• Communicate with drivers throughout the day to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor driver locations and shipment status.
• Assign loads and update dispatch information.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in dispatch software.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery updates when needed.
• Assist drivers with route changes and operational issues.
• Work closely with Safety, Maintenance, and Operations to keep freight moving efficiently.
• Ensure drivers receive accurate load information and instructions.
• Maintain professional communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service, administrative, transportation, or dispatch experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
