QA Automation Tester - HybridGenesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Tester - Hybrid (3 days/week) for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This is a Quality Assurance Testing role supporting parallel projects in a fast-paced working environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of testing strategies, working independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues while ensuring adherence to quality standards. This position requires a background in Java/Spring development and experience with test automation.Responsibilities:Develop and execute testing strategies utilizing various software deliverable methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)Work with Development and other internal teams to help troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify risks, and ensure defects are resolvedDevelop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirementsLead test planning at a team level and ensure stories are well refined with clear acceptance criteriaImplement the test framework for the team and lead test case reviewsIdentify automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test typesCondition and generate test data, ensuring data compliance requirements are metExecute manual and automated test cases, record test results, and report issues and defectsTrace tests through the development lifecycle and back to requirementsMaintain and catalog test suites across test types (Smoke, Integration, Regression, etc.)Requirements:Java/Spring developer backgroundExperience in Selenium and JavaProficient in Advanced SQL SkillsStrong analytics skillsProficient with issue and risk resolutionAcquainted with Enterprise Data Management StandardsWorking knowledge of Autosys SchedulingExperience working in an Agile Team (and familiar with SAFe Agile Practices)Desired skills:Hands-on experience using Cucumber and BDD processes creating Feature Files and Step DefinitionsGood knowledge on the Workfusion platformStrong BI Skills (Tableau / MSTR)Flexibility in learning new Analytical ToolsAbility to work independently through implementationPay range: $49.37 - $57.37 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
