Job Description

The Outside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving growth by acquiring new clients and managing sales opportunities within assigned local and regional territories. This position focuses on selling in the construction industry and involves a balanced mix of client engagement, market analysis, and contract negotiation. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the role offers a structured path for career progression.

Responsibilities

Acquire and develop new client relationships
Generate and qualify leads within the assigned territory
Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospects
Manage and prioritize territory activities effectively
Negotiate contracts to close sales agreements
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
Prepare and submit timely sales reports
Build and maintain a professional network in the industry

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in outside sales
Associate’s degree in Business or related field
Proficient in sales techniques and CRM tools
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Effective time management and prospecting abilities
Excellent presentation and problem-solving skills
