Job Summary Geisinger ConvenientCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Berwick, PA. Job Duties Diagnose and treat common medical problems such as sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections, and more. Perform routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services. Work autonomously with limited administrative burden. Schedule & Compensation Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled weekly hours: 40 Worker type: Regular Exemption status: Yes Recruitment incentive: $20,000 (with a 30‑month work commitment) Attractive schedule: 14 rotating shifts per month, no overnight shifts, no mandated additional shifts. Compensation package includes a $10k recruitment incentive, 401(k) retirement plan, CME, relocation, and more. Education and Experience (Required) Advanced practitioners must be able to treat patients from age one and older, and have at least six months of primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care experience. Physician Assistant candidates must complete an ARC‑PA (or predecessor) approved program, hold current NCCPA certification or be eligible, and be licensed in Pennsylvania. Nurse Practitioner candidates must hold a certificate from an approved NP program or be eligible for national certification allowing work with the patient populations and settings of this position, and be licensed in Pennsylvania.
