Mental Health Therapist (Contract)– Albuquerque, NM

Golden Horizon Counseling Group is growing!

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing culturally responsive, client-centered care and helping individuals and families improve their mental health and overall well-being.

We offer flexible scheduling, no cost supervision, Telehealth options, and competitive pay.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual and/or family counseling
• Complete assessments and individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic services
• Work collaboratively with clients, families, and the Golden Horizon team
• Serve Spanish-speaking and English-speaking clients

Qualifications

• Current or eligible New Mexico behavioral health license, such as LMHC, LPCC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, culturally responsive care

Location: Main office Albuquerque, NM with Telehealth options available. Schedule: Flexible schedule with days, nights, and weekend hours available.
