Clinical Research Associate I - Neurology (New Jersey/New York)

Clinical Research Associate position supporting neurology trials across New Jersey and New York. The role involves serving as the primary liaison between investigative sites and AbbVie, managing study conduct, monitoring data integrity, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout trial execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for investigative sites, providing trial information and facilitating stakeholder connections
• Conduct site evaluations, training sessions, routine monitoring and closure activities in compliance with protocols
• Develop and implement customized site engagement strategies using CRM tools to track progress
• Proactively assess risks and monitor site activities to identify safety or performance issues collaboratively
• Ensure data quality, timely submission and appropriate reporting of safety events from study sites

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in health-related discipline (Medical, Scientific, Nursing) or equivalent work experience
• Clinical research coordinating or data management experience preferred
• Knowledge of ICH/GCP Guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements
• Strong collaborative and cross-functional working abilities
• Planning, organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities for site-related issues
