Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit images to Radiologists for interpretation
- Unload and transport portable X-Ray equipment into facilities to complete physician-ordered exams with clinically diagnostic, technically competent results
- Perform EKGs when needed and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation
- Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily following established protocols
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management teams
- Build professional relationships with peers, supervisors, and facility clients
- Keep vehicle and X-Ray equipment in excellent working condition
Qualifications
- ARRT Certification required
- Valid California state license required
- Valid driver's license in good standing required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions with proper documentation accepted)
- Ability to push/pull 50-100 lbs with assistance from vehicle ramps and pulleys
Knowledge & Skills
- Portable digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography equipment operation
- Mobile X-Ray imaging techniques for nursing homes and healthcare facilities
- EKG performance and transmission when applicable
- Professional communication with dispatch, management, and facility staff
- Equipment maintenance and vehicle care
