Description:
Occupational Therapist position available in an acute and swing bed setting.
This role primarily focuses on acute and swing bed coverage.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 14:30.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy school is required.
A current state license is mandatory.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Experience in a clinical setting is required, with preferred experience in charge roles.
Prior experience with EPIC charting system is necessary.
Candidate must demonstrate skills in adaptive equipment assessment, evaluation, discharge planning, and patient education.
Key skills required include experience with various conditions such as arthritis, cerebral palsy, stroke rehabilitation, and dementia.
The role involves working with diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Interdisciplinary support is provided by various services.
Daily patient census is typically around 16, with 8 visits per day planned.
The facility consists of 25 rooms and beds, ensuring adequate support for all patients.
This position requires flexibility and the capability to work in a dynamic environment.
