Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility Understand the PT board’s rules and regulations, complying within respective state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Qualifications 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply BLS certification State-specific license Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods of time Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment Compensation TotalMed Allied Job ID #1430035.
