You'll get to:Develop health and safety programs to meet requirements of corporate and regulatory agencies.Provide training for all current and new employees to ensure their safety and the compliance with corporate/government safety requirements.Identify and appraise conditions which could produce accidents and financial losses and evaluate potential injuries resulting from accidents.Administer incident investigations program so all incidents are reported, investigated and prompt corrective action is taken and substantiated.Assist the Leadership Team with the development of new products, processes and procedures to ensure the health and safety of all is given the highest priority.Develop appropriate safety metrics to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.Communicate activities of department to company and corporate management regularly and accurately.Coordinate activities of all employees to ensure implementation of safety policies/procedures throughout the organization.Compile, and interpret statistical data related to exposure factors.Manage workers compensation activities, including maintaining OSHA log, submitting required reports, managing cases and appropriation of funds.Coordinate a "mentor" program for new hires.Develop departmental budget and manage department expenses.The Person:You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. Join us!The Salary range for this position is $95,600.00 - $153,900.00This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
