STORE GENERAL MANAGER

Store Manager – Town Pump Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Manager to join our team. Town Pump is a growing company, with ever increasing opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service at your location, including communicating with customers, resolving complaints and inquiries, filling in for absent employees, answering telephone and screening calls. Make supervisory decisions consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures, and assist in planning, leadership, organizing, and follow-ups in areas such as controllable expenses, sales increases, inside gross margin, shortage controls, promotional programs, and competitor monitoring. Complete daily bookwork using a computer to record employee information, inventory, and sale information. Maintain security of all store assets: control of cash, fuel, and inventories, store merchandise, and labor hours. Provide new employee hiring, training, and orientation; discipline or terminate problem employees as needed. Order supplies and merchandise, inventory merchandise, invoice merchandise, key in daily sales, and manage merchandising – receiving, pricing, stocking, displaying, and rotating inventories. Carry out store maintenance and basic repairs, make bank deposits, and perform light cleaning of the store and restrooms. Set an exemplary example for co‑workers in professionalism, attitude, and teamwork in customer service and convenience store operations. Maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
