Job Description

Bell & Evans busca un(a) Operador(a) de Máquina para formar parte de nuestro equipo en el departamento de Par Fry. El/la Operador(a) de Máquina será responsable de operar y mantener los equipos de producción, asegurando que los productos se elaboren de manera segura y eficiente, de acuerdo con los programas de producción y las necesidades de nuestros clientes.

El candidato ideal es una persona responsable, detallista, comprometida con la seguridad y capaz de trabajar de manera independiente siguiendo los procedimientos y estándares de calidad establecidos.

Responsabilidades principales

Operar de manera segura la maquinaria de producción, siguiendo todos los procedimientos de seguridad y las instrucciones de operación requeridas.
Supervisar el equipo durante la producción y asegurarse de que las máquinas funcionen correctamente.
Producir los productos de acuerdo con los programas de producción establecidos y las especificaciones de los clientes.
Mantener un fuerte enfoque en la seguridad alimentaria y la calidad del producto durante todo el proceso de producción.
Identificar y reportar inmediatamente cualquier problema relacionado con la seguridad, calidad o funcionamiento del equipo al supervisor correspondiente.
Cumplir con las políticas, procedimientos, requisitos de seguridad y Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (GMP) de la empresa.
Leer y seguir las instrucciones de operación, mantenimiento, seguridad y procedimientos.
Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y organizada.
Trabajar eficazmente con los demás miembros del equipo para alcanzar los objetivos del departamento y de producción.
Realizar todas las tareas requeridas con mínima supervisión.
Realizar otras tareas y responsabilidades según sean asignadas por la gerencia.

Requisitos

Diploma de escuela secundaria o GED, preferiblemente; o 1–3 meses de experiencia y/o capacitación relacionada , o una combinación equivalente de educación y experiencia.
Se prefiere experiencia previa operando maquinaria o trabajando en manufactura, pero no es indispensable.
Capacidad para comunicarse eficazmente en inglés con los demás miembros del equipo.
Capacidad para leer y comprender reglas de seguridad, instrucciones de operación y mantenimiento, manuales de procedimientos y otros documentos relacionados con el trabajo.
Conocimientos básicos de computación.
Gran atención a los detalles y compromiso con la calidad.
Capacidad para seguir instrucciones y procedimientos establecidos.
Capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente con mínima supervisión.
Alto compromiso con los estándares de seguridad en el trabajo y seguridad alimentaria.
Ser una persona confiable y responsable, con actitud positiva y disposición para trabajar en equipo.

Ambiente de trabajo

Este es un puesto práctico dentro de un entorno de producción de alimentos. El/la candidato(a) seleccionado(a) deberá cumplir con los procedimientos de seguridad y seguridad alimentaria mientras trabaja de manera eficiente en un ambiente de producción dinámico y de ritmo rápido.
