Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required. American Heart Association preferred.
• State specific licensing for Florida when required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting required.
• Cath lab experience with mechanical circulatory support required: Impella and IABP experience required.
• Experience managing ventilated patients in the Cath Lab required.
• Experience with GE imaging equipment preferred.
• Experience with procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, PPM, shockwave, Impella, and IABP preferred.
• Preferred: RCIS certification from CCI.
• Preferred: vascular/peripheral intervention or EP experience.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00 - 15:00.
• Each day shift lab typically staffs 1–2 RNs and 1–2 techs per lab, approximately 3 staff per case.
• Night coverage is on call; on-call team is a 3-person team for emergent cases.
• Unit uses GE imaging equipment.
• EMR: Meditech.
