Together we can make a difference.Benefits: We offer a generous benefit package including vacation and PTO time, paid holidays, 401k with profit sharing, medical, dental, and vision insurance, employee assistant program, FSA and HSA plans, life insurance, opportunities for advancement, paid training, employee referral program, and employee discount.Location: Bergey's Commercial Tire, Boyertown PAShift: Full TimePay: $18 to $20 per hour based on experienceSummary: Perform tire repairs, replacements, and general service to tires and wheels at customer's location, on the road, or at the shop.Essential Duties:Raise vehicle with hydraulic jack, use air tools and heavy hand-held toolsMount, dismount, balance, replace, and repair passenger and light truck tiresPerform alignments on passenger and light trucksAbility to recognize repairable tires and properly perform repairCommunicate all work performed via legible writing on tags, work orders, and/or invoicesPerform all tasks in a safe and efficient mannerUse all provided safety equipment including seat belts, gloves, jack stands, wheel chocks, safety glasses, and cagesMaintain safe driving recordOperate commercial service truckPerform daily maintenance to vehicle, tools, and equipmentMaintain professional relationship with customersPerforms oil changes and other basic maintenance on passenger and light trucksOther tasks as assignedKnowledge of passenger/light truck tires mandatory. Mechanical experience a plus. Good customer service skills.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
