Job Description

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for running general conduit runs between 1/2" to 2", including EMT, PVC Coated (Ocal), and stainless steel. You will possess a general understanding of 24V, 120V, and 480V systems, with experience in controls, automation, and terminations. Additionally, you will be involved in wire pulling, understanding switchgear such as PDP, MCC, and DP, and installing cable trays. Man lift experience and industrial electrical experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Run general conduit runs including EMT, PVC Coated (Ocal), and stainless steel.

• Understand and work with 24V, 120V, and 480V systems.

• Engage in controls, automation, and terminations.

• Perform wire pulling and understand switchgear such as PDP, MCC, and DP.

• Install cable trays and utilize man lift experience.

• Apply industrial electrical experience in daily operations.

• Electrical expertise

• Conduit running and bending

• Wiring and troubleshooting

• Experience with industrial and commercial electrical systems

• Low voltage installation

• Competence with hand tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 3 years of industrial electrician experience

• Valid CA driver's license

• Willingness to travel within CA with work weeks out and weekends home

• Open to working overtime

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
