The Meat Clerk is responsible for washing, inspecting, and rotating all meat products, along with ensuring displays are stocked with new merchandise and ensuring expirations are up to date. The Meat Clerk must possess strong teamwork and customer service skills./ph3Essential Duties And Responsibilities/h3pThe essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:/pulliWork professionally as part of the team and provide excellent customer service;/liliVerify prices, hang current sales signs, and removes out-of-date sales signs;/liliOrder and inventory required meats, seafood, and poultry;/liliSell products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions;/liliEnsure neat appearance of department and meat displays;/liliComply with sanitation and health guidelines./li/ulh3Skills And Qualifications/h3p* Valid Food Handlers Card; br * Prior food preparer experience at a grocery store preferred; br * Must be friendly and people oriented; br * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment./ph3Physical Demands And Work Conditions/h3pThe physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
