Due to growth, Plastics Extrusion Machinery is seeking CNC Machinists to join their team in McPherson, KS. If you have 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines , this is an opportunity you need to explore! Select, install, and properly set cutting tools, fixtures, and machine offsets. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and machining specifications. Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet required tolerances and quality standards. Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools. Monitor machining operations, troubleshoot setup or tooling issues, and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity. Perform routine machine maintenance (maintain coolant and machine lubrication) maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with programmers, engineers, and other manufacturing team members to successfully produce custom and complex components.
