We are an authorized service center for small appliances. We are looking for a Receiving Assocaite to work in our warehouse department in our Holbrook, NY facility.
Benefits/Perks- 8:30 - 4:30PM work schedule M-F, 15 paid coffee break, 30 minute unpaid lunch break
- Vacation, 1week; 2 weeks after first year
- Sick Time, 1 week
- 6 Paid Holidays
Job Summary
Responsibilities include ensuring that all inbound packages delivered are received daily and prior to delivery the following day. May be asked to assist in pack and shipping as needed and requested by warehouse supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill the day-to-day operations of the warehouse primarily focused on detailed receiving tasks
- Ensure delivered products are received to their Work Orders and organized in FIFO manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics is preferred
- Ability to lift and pack appliances weighing 20-50lbs regularly
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
- Ability to work with limited supervision to complete work on time
- Ability to use custom computer software and cameras to capture data and images as needed per SOP
