This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of specialists you will be responsible for all aspects of creating, analyzing and communicating detailed testing schedules using industry standard scheduling software. You will collaborate with test and manufacturing operations leaders, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production Control to ensure work is efficiency planned with all risks identified.

Responsibilities Include:
Develops the schedule for testing based on program schedule, customer ask date, labor, and resource availability, and expected precedence.
Manages schedules for all programs we support as Test. Provides detailed information to Test Engineering to ensure scheduled completion dates align with actual work center capacities, capabilities, and historical performance.
Evaluates product scope and creates tactical schedules using scheduling systems (MS Project & Primavera P6). Controls the scope of work released to Production Control for management and execution.
When schedule recovery is necessary, identifies and analyzes solutions and bottlenecks, including forward and reverse scheduling methods.
Works closely with production and test teams to determine the needs and constraints of the manufacturing shop floor, technicians and schedules work accordingly.
Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Program Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure production and customer specifications are accurate and production schedules are timely.
Monitors status and provides regular updates to management on upcoming testing priorities.
Updates visual management boards and Tier boards with current job/program status.
Performs schedule and scope variance analysis and integrates schedules with the production WC
Works on problems of various scope where analysis of data requires evaluation and judgement.
Qualifications:
BA/BS Production Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering and/or Supply Chain Management preferred.
3-5 years recent production control planning and scheduling experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience in scheduling within production or test environments preferred
Read and understands technical documents including blueprints andschematics.
Experience in creating and maintaining schedules with CPM methodology in MS Project or Primavera P6.
Able to work full time schedule, including occasional travel, overtime, or on-call work.
Based upon job duties, may need to work in various areas that may cause exposure to fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals (well below OSHA exposure guidelines), outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and/or be part of a hearing conservation program due to noise levels around certain equipment.

Desired Skills and Experience:
Manufacturing Lead, supplier management, program management experience highly desired.
Excellent computer skills with Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel, Power Query, SQL, MS Office, and ERP experience with MRP execution desired.
Testing experience with strong focus on capacity planning experience preferred.
Excellent written /verbal communications skills
Demonstrates understanding and is able to apply continuous improvement terminology/tools: LEAN, Six Sigma principles/DFSS/Lean design principles, Value Stream, and K

Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical

Stock Options for all regular employees (working at least 20 hours/week)
Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
