ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join a school district in Yazoo County, Mississippi for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time opportunity for an educator looking to make a meaningful impact while supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Work Schedule

• Position: Special Education Teacher

• Location: Yazoo County, MS

• Schedule: Full-time

Qualifications

• Active Mississippi Special Education teaching certification/license required

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field

• Previous school-based special education experience preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Ability to support students with diverse academic and behavioral needs

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related-service providers, administrators, and families

• Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, and functional goals

• Maintain a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• Ensure compliance with IEP requirements and applicable state and federal regulations

• Location: Yazoo County, Mississippi

• Position: Full-Time Special Education Teacher

• School Year: 2026–2027

• Pay Rate: $35–$50/hour , depending on years of teaching experience and district budget; subject to change
