MUST BE ABLE TO DO ALL THREE: SOLA MRI (New machine), CT and XRAY. No exceptions.


Days, 0900 - 1730 with some call.

There would be call involved it would include once a week and once every 5th weekend. Our MRI scanner was just installed we have a Siemens Sola Fit 1.5T. We do approximately 50-60 MRI's a month so when not in MRI we pick up CT's and X-rays. There is one other MRI Tech that does cover but she is our only Echo Tech, and she is a Part Time employee, but will help in MRI.

ARRT, BLS, WY license takes 2 weeks

1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Siemens Sola MRI, CT and XRAY

2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
Phillips Epiq Elite US unit, Canon CT, Client for X-ray

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Siemens Sola MRI, General CT experience and General x-ray knowledge preferred. 1 year of experience required, 2 years of experience preferred.


4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
ARRT required, BLS required

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
8am-430pm, call required and will depend on skill level in other modalities. Weekend call is required.

6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
CT and X-ray procedures.

7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.


8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)

10. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
We perform NM, CT, US, Echo's, MRI, Mammo, X-ray and do OR procedures. We train in house.

Additional Comments:
In US we do approximately 65 US exams and 20 Echo's per month, 130 CT/month, and 250 x-rays/month.
