Job Duties
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, from simple to complex.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care and responses to treatment.
• Monitor patient conditions, identify changes, and communicate updates to physicians and the healthcare team.
• Assist physicians with patient examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products as prescribed.
• Deliver safe, competent, and compassionate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate referrals for patient care needs and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff while ensuring quality patient care.
• Float to other hospital units as needed to meet staffing requirements.

Requirements

• Current Oklahoma RN License or active multistate Compact RN License (eNLC).
• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Med/Surg experience required.
• Step Down experience required.
• Must be willing to float to any area of the hospital as needed.
• Strong knowledge of professional nursing practices, patient assessment, and care planning.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.ca
