Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist is responsible for interpreting all referral information, evaluating, adjusting, updating and discharging the treatment of all patients in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code Section 4755 in all settings of care at Aultman.

Responsibilities include maintaining on-going competency, conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing patient plans of care, providing direct patient care, ensuring optimal patient functional outcome, keeping the UD informed of any significant problems or concerns, responding effectively to patient/family complaints, orienting new personnel to charts, forms and documentation requirements, providing peer review of job performance of co-workers, assisting with the quality improvement program, assisting with compliance of facility operations with federal, state and local rules and regulations, consistently communicating with all patients, families, customers and other personnel in a professional, respectful and courteous manner, demonstrating flexibility in meeting the needs of the program, promoting teamwork, complying with infection control and safety policies, completing annual competency requirements, consistently communicating requests, suggestions, concerns or problems to the appropriate personnel, consistently completing assigned responsibilities in required time frame, maintaining a professional appearance, maintaining Aultman standards of confidentiality, creating and fostering a work environment that is consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of the Aultman Health Foundation, supporting strategic organizational goals, abiding by the Aultman Code of Conduct at all times.

Qualifications include a graduate of a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy program, current PT license from State of Ohio OT, PT, and AT Board, current BLS certification, basic computer skills, and pelvic floor experience required.
